Description

The Lebanese 20,000 Livres banknote features intricate design elements and vibrant colors, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of Lebanon. Released in 2004, this banknote showcases a variety of artistic patterns and security features. The denomination is prominently displayed, along with texts in both Arabic and French, enhancing its distinctiveness. The reverse side often highlights natural elements relevant to Lebanese identity.

Obverse (front)
The front of the 20,000 Livres banknote is adorned with a harmonious mix of pastel colors including shades of orange and beige. The central focus is a prominent numerical '20,000', flanked by decorative geometric patterns. It features an intricate watermarked design, ensuring its authenticity, along with microtext elements difficult to replicate. Notable symbols such as the Cedar Tree resonate with Lebanese heritage, while a faint vertical blue pattern provides additional security functionality.

Reverse (back)
The back of the note displays a vibrant illustration that includes cultural motifs and a depiction of the Lebanese landscape. The colors are warm and inviting, enhancing the visual appeal while reinforcing the bond with nature and heritage. This side also includes microprinting and a holographic stripe for added security. The overall artistic quality reflects the elegance of the Lebanese identity, underscored by a decorative border that frames the central imagery.

REPLACEMENT: Banknote printed to replace damaged ones. Scarcer than regular issues, increasing its appeal and value among collectors.
