Description

The Nicaraguan 10 Córdobas banknote showcases a vibrant design and intricate security features, making it both visually appealing and secure. Issued by the Banco Central de Nicaragua, the note primarily features a lush palm tree motif, highlighting the rich natural heritage of the country. It bears the designation 'SPECIMEN', signifying its status as a sample. The green color palette is prominent, symbolizing both the denomination and the rich landscapes of Nicaragua. Additionally, the banknote includes a variety of microprinting and holographic elements, enhancing its resistance to counterfeiting.

Obverse (front)
The front of the Nicaraguan 10 Córdobas banknote is strikingly adorned with a detailed illustration of palm trees, which connect to the tropical environment of Nicaragua. It features the denomination prominently noted as '10' and 'DIEZ CÓRDOBAS'. The background incorporates a subtle gradient of green hues, enhancing the overall aesthetic while ensuring visibility against potential counterfeit attempts. Notably, the watermark and microtext can be observed to add a layer of security, making the note distinctive and difficult to replicate.

Reverse (back)
On the reverse side of the banknote, a scenic view featuring the Puerto Salvador Allende in Managua is illustrated, enhancing the cultural narrative of the note. This side also maintains the vibrant green theme, with intricate patterns that flow elegantly across the paper. The denomination is reiterated as '10', and the 'SPECIMEN' text is prominently showcased, conveying its authenticity while serving as a deterrent to counterfeiting. The careful design, combined with various security elements like colorshift ink and a polymer substrate, underscores the note's durability.

SPECIMEN: Demonstration banknote used by banks and printers, marked with "SPECIMEN." Never circulated, often in pristine condition, making it highly collectible.
