Peru - 2 x 5.000.000 Intis 1990, 1991 - Pick # 149, 150 - F/VF

Description

The 5,000,000 Intis banknote from the central bank of Peru showcases rich artistic elements merged with security features. This particular note, issued in the late 1990s, highlights the cultural symbolism of Peru, featuring detailed illustrations alongside official text. The overall design integrates historical references while incorporating modern security measures. It’s a vivid representation of Peruvian heritage meant to inspire confidence in the currency.

Obverse (front)
The front displays a prominent portrait of a historical figure, likely representing a significant cultural or national identity. Surrounding the portrait are intricate floral designs, showcasing Peru's natural beauty. The note features a deep color palette, including shades of red and orange, which give it a vibrant look. The denomination is clearly marked as '5,000,000 INTIS' and includes the bank's logo for authenticity. Security features such as a watermark and microprinting can also be observed, adding layers of protection against counterfeiting.

Reverse (back)
The back of the note continues with the floral motifs and the denomination prominently displayed. It also features the bank's emblem, symbolizing stability and trust. The design here is simpler, focusing on bold elements to catch the eye while simultaneously maintaining security with hidden images that reveal themselves under certain lighting. Additionally, this side contains less text, making it more focused on visual impact and ensuring ease of recognition.
